Sometimes you want to run one of our base units with something other than a Touch Toggle.

The Terminal Base Control lets you operate our bases with your own controls. Hardware switches, relay contacts, or 5 – 12 volt input signals can control four adjacent inputs of any Base. Two of these units side by side let you operate 8 inputs across. (This unit can’t be used with a 2 input base.)

In it’s most basic arrangement you can easily connect SPST switch contacts to the Toggle input connections of any 4 or 8 channel base. Our sophisticated controls can now be controlled by a simple On/Off circuit.

• Direct Bases will provide protected reversing DC
• Snap Action bases offer a smart Capacitive Discharge Unit output
• Relay bases can control high power circuits

These same inputs are designed as 5v logic connections for electronic control. Operate Bases from the outputs of Arduinos and Raspberry Pis.

Each Terminal Base Control has 6 wire clamping screw terminal connections for wires from 26 to 14 gauge.The first 4 terminals control each of the Touch Toggle Base inputs. The 2 remaining terminals connect to 5 volts and ground. These units are narrow enough that two can sit side by side plugged into an 8 across base.

All power for this unit and it’s 5v output is supplied by the connected base, so additional power supplies are not required.
