Our Setup Remote is used with our Servo Base to set the start and stop limits for servo operation.

Servo Control Base come adjusted with a short stroke for installation, but are only usable when set to your exact requirements. Our Setup Remote lets you set each servo to the exact stop positions and speed to meet your needs. This is a tool to set up all your servos with just one remote, so only one is needed for a whole layout.

During adjustments, the Setup Remote should be connected to the base with a DCC cable. We offer Setup Remote Cables if you don’t have one on hand. The cable can be any length you need to let you to adjust each servo while watching the turnout points very closely. This is a “straight through” RJ-11 or RJ-14 DATA cable or a 4 or 6 wire DCC cable (Don’t use a telephone cable which crosses wires inside – you can damage the base).

We offer 7 foot (2m) and 25 foot (7.5m) Setup Remote Cables, just in case you don’t have a DCC cable handy…

Our four button Setup Remote is available in “Tool Gray”, that matches the color of the base, or “Bright Green” (Really bright: think “Can’t Loose It On The Layout” green). Both have handy instructions printed on the back, so they’re harder to loose. The choice is yours!
